Used for fixing to a backing board (with a bifurcated rivet PS39) or fixing to the back of a frame (with a countersunk screw PS42 or a roundhead PS78).
The single hole are used on smaller and lighter frames, while the double hole D Rings are used on the larger and heavier frames.
Made from steel and then either Brass or Zinc plated.
